THE DETAILS

THE DETAILS

  • I don’t offer bridal hair services - makeup is definitely more my thing.

The good news? I’ve worked with incredible bridal hair stylists and can recommend trusted pros, based on your location and overall vibe.

  • To lock in your contract, all I need is which base package you would like to book. This will be considered your minimum. You can always add on services later, as plans come together.

Just a heads-up: one artist can only service up to 6 people. If your headcount grows and you need to upgrade, it’ll be based on team availability. The earlier you can update me, the better.

  • Feel free to reach out so I can confirm availability for your date. Once you’re ready, I’ll send over a booking link with everything needed to lock it in.

A $400 deposit and signed contract officially secures your event, with the deposit applied to your balance.

Please note that dates aren’t held until both are received. Contracts are valid for 48 hours—after that, the date may be released to the next inquiry.

  • Typically wedding dates book up anywhere from six months, to a year and a half in advance. Especially on Saturdays and the more popular months like June and September. That said, depending on the date or day of the week, you may have more time. As with any vendor you have your heart set on, it is best to book them asap. I book about 100 weddings a year and get dozens of inquiries a day, therefore many can be for the same dates.

  • As we get closer to your wedding, I’ll coordinate with your photographer and make a timeline that’s totally tailored to you!

Most wedding mornings are anywhere between 1–5 hours. This depends on the headcount and the number of artists booked.

  • All appointments take place at my office in Mansfield, MA.

Come with fresh, makeup-free skin and feel free to bring inspo photos. Red carpet shots or images from my Instagram are ideal.

Be sure to have all services and treatments done as you would for your wedding, such as: brow waxing/threading, spray tan, facial treatments ect. Styling your hair close to your wedding look and wearing a top similar in cut and color to your dress, helps give the most accurate final result. The details matter!

    Quick tips:

    • If you’re spray tanning, skip the face. I’ll match it to your body!

    • Using Tretinoin? Stop 2 weeks before your appointment.

  • It is recommended you schedule a Bridal Preview (trial) within 3 months of the event date. I schedule previews so that the current season’s brides get priority. I want to make sure I give them my undivided attention! Bridal Previews are scheduled on Tuesdays and Wednesdays between 9am-5pm. Please note they are not held Fridays, Saturdays, or Sundays, as I am typically on location at a wedding.

I do not offer true bridal trials before booking. I work on a first come, first serve basis. With the demand and the number of inquires I get daily, I am unable to hold dates. It is highly recommended that you look though Google reviews and review my Instagram gallery, to see if my work resonates with you!

  • A Bridal Preview isn’t mandatory, but it’s strongly encouraged — so it’s built into every bridal package and included in the booking minimum. If you decide to skip it, no worries! We can use that time as an additional hour of extended touch-ups on the wedding day instead. This can be a great option, especially if you are planning a ‘first look’.

  • My signature looks have been described as glowy, ethereal, feminine, sultry, and romantic. Timeless bridal makeup, that enhances your natural features and photographs beautifully.

My kit includes a curated mix of luxury and pro-only brands. Charlotte Tilbury, Chanel, Dior, Hourglass, MAC, NARS, RCMA, and Face Atelier - just to name a few. Every product is chosen for performance, longevity, and skin-like finish.

  • Your makeup will only look as good as your skin! Staying hydrated, gently exfoliating, and sticking to a consistent skincare routine leading up to your wedding day, makes a huge difference. If it's in your budget, seeing a professional esthetician is always a plus.

Treatments like Hydrafacials or Dermaplaning, starting anywhere from 6 months to a year out, can seriously elevate how your makeup looks and wears on the big day.

If you are a local bride I typically refer Angela Zatzos from Luxe Studio Spa: www.luxestudiospa.com

  • For everyone’s safety (yours and your artist’s) we don’t use personal makeup items - with the exception of lip products. This helps prevent cross-contamination and allows us to fully control sanitation.

Using our professional-grade products also means better longevity, a flawless finish, and makeup that photographs beautifully.

  • Once you’re booked, you’ll get access to your HoneyBook client portal. This will be your go-to spot for everything in one place! Inside, you’ll find your contract, invoices, timelines, and all important details. It’s secure, organized, and super easy to use. All major credit cards are accepted.

A $400 deposit is due when your contract is signed to officially lock in your date. The remaining balance is split into two equal payments:

    • Payment 2: due 3 months before your wedding.

    • Final payment: due 2 weeks before your wedding.

To keep things stress-free, automatic email reminders are sent before each payment.

  • Gratuity is appreciated, but totally optional, and never required. If you do decide to leave one, we hope it’s because you loved your experience.

  • Yes! As a mobile artist, I travel to events throughout Rhode Island, Massachusetts, and parts of Connecticut. I also offer services for select destination events! I no longer offer travel to NH, ME, and VT.

For local events (MA & RI), travel is included in the bridal packages.

  • Absolutely! I travel to weddings beyond New England and even have dual citizenship in Portugal, so I can make your dream destination glam totally painless!

Past destinations include, Marco Island, Orlando, Turks and Caicos, and the Azores. Travel fees may apply, but I also offer special destination discounts depending on the location.

Fill out the contact form and let’s chat about your plans. I love helping brides create their perfect look, anywhere in the world.

  • We love keeping things simple at JMV and besides - all love is celebrated here. So, there’s never an extra cost for a second bride. Just book a base package, and everything else is based on your total headcount.

The only time extra fees come into play, is if you’re getting ready in two separate rooms, or locations that require travel.
