Jennifer is a makeup artist who has worked in the cosmetic industry for over a decade. With an esthetics license and a undeniable passion, Jennifer started working for companies like MAC and Bobbi Brown to work on her craft, product knowledge, and customer service. In that time Jennifer was able to have some amazing experiences working with clients like Steven Tyler of Aerosmith, to having her work published with Maryelle Artistry in the Improper Bostonian. Jennifer has also worked with athletes such as gold medalist, Kayla Harrison and former Patriot, Richard Seymour. She has also been featured on TLC's "A Makeover Story". Recently, Jennifer has worked backstage at RI Fashion Week, has been featured on the Newport Bride, worked on the 2017 Toni & Guy campaign for Target, and Loren Hope campaign for Nordstrom.
Jennifer consistently works all over the New England area including Newport, Providence and Boston, creating timeless, "naturally glam" makeup for every occasion. With a extensive knowledge of lighting and photography, Jennifer is also busy with print, editorial, and television work. Jennifer's main focus is always making the client in her chair feel as comfortable as possible and adjusting the makeup to his or her needs.
Amanda was born and raised north of New York City. Being a New Yorker; Amanda was surrounded by the fast paced life of the city and where fashion and art begins. She has always been fascinated with makeup artistry in the fashion capacity because it just seemed to bring the whole look together. Amanda was always trying new products and recommending things to friends after keeping up with the trends in all of the latest magazines and blogs. After moving to Boston for her graduate degree at Boston College in Counseling Psychology, Amanda began to explore her passion of makeup artistry in other ways. She began working in the makeup industry with Chanel makeup over a decade ago to perfect her craft and educate herself with product knowledge and skincare. From there she began working for companies that had similar ideas of classic and timeless makeup looks. Amanda began to work for Bobbi Brown to work on technique of “coffee to cocktails” look and “no makeup makeup”. Amanda attended educational seminars through Bobbi Brown to gather a better understanding of product knowledge, customer service, and to read and study all of Bobbi’s books and makeup encyclopedias. During that time it was evident that Amanda was primarily focused on what is good for your skin and artistry that makes women feel beautiful inside and out. She began to freelance for companies such as Bobbi Brown, Laura Mercier, and Nars in order to focus on makeup artistry itself. Amanda has always been an honest and hard-working makeup artist in order to achieve the look of happiness for each one of her clients. Amanda is always educating herself and learning new things in order to provide the best service to her clients.
Amanda works all over the New England area teaching lessons, weddings, and special occasions including Boston, and the Cape area creating natural makeup for every occasion. Amanda’s philosophy is to make every person who sits in her chair feel comfortable, confident, and beautiful naturally, enhancing their own unique characteristics.
